Our goal is to bring you bite sized resources for the recovery process.
In response to the Eaton Fire in Los Angeles County and Pasadena, a range of support resources has been mobilized over the past two weeks to aid survivors. Financial assistance is available through FEMA, and Pasadena Water and Power is offering utility support. Local efforts include the Altadena Teen Girls Fire Recovery Group, supported by Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, which provides essential items for affected teenage girls. Community healing initiatives, such as the Kids Town Hall, are helping families process grief, while temporary housing solutions are accessible through partnerships with Airbnb and 211 LA. Small businesses impacted by the fire can apply for disaster loans, with $52 million already allocated by the U.S. Small Business Administration. Additionally, local volunteers and businesses are actively participating in recovery efforts, providing essential supplies and rebuilding support. These collective initiatives reflect a strong commitment from federal agencies, local authorities, and community organizations to assist survivors in their recovery and resilience.
